Enormous Radio

Enormous Radio is a story about Westcott's (who is an ordinary upper class and listens music a lot) radio which alter this family's life. In the beginning of the story Wescott's old radio was broken down and they need to change it with a big and ugly radio. After a while Irene (family's woman) realized it's more than a radio. It transmits their neighbour's voices to them. At first Irene didn't catch this unnatural event suddenly, but it takes time for it. When Irene and Jim understood this situation, Jim forbid Irene to listen the radio, but it didn't prevent Irene to listen her neighbours. She was addicted to it. Irene's psychology shows that human have a weak point which is curiosity. People may wonder what the other people's life looks like and compare to their life.
